Killing zombies on linux?????

Hi managers

I4m trying to kill process zombies on Linux. Sometimes i4ve done it on
solaris when the

Number of process is minimal. For example i execute the ptree command and
kill every child and

Parent process, so that the zombies are killed. Anyhow on Linux i4m trying to
use the command

pstree but isn4t posible to get the child process to try to kill them

Anyone knows about it???

Thanks in advance
