Hi Gurus
We've been attempting to jumpstart a t5220 from another t5220 with
LDOM's, but it seems that we're being stopped by the hardening that
happens when the ldm package is added.
We're getting this: -
WARNING: mountnfs3: pmap_kgetport RPC error 2 (RPC: Can't decode
result).
WARNING: Unable to mount NFS root filesystem: error 6

We have an O/S installed on the system we are using as a client, and if
we try a showmount -e or rpcinfo -p on the server, we get the following:
-
# > showmount -e <IP Address>
showmount: <IP Address>: RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Authentication
error
# > rpcinfo -p <IP Address>
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Authentication error; why =
Failed (unspecified error)
We have googled the web and tried most of the things listed, including
disabling TCP Wrappers and changing various parameters in svccfg to
false, but we're still not able to jumpstart the client.
Anyone got any better suggestions?
Thanks - Ian
