Hi Simon,
not at the moment as the server (as usual when bad things happen) is on a
remote site
and nobody there who can provide a remote console :))
Anyway I also had received an answer pointing to support documents from
Oracle
(http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19963-01/html/821-1451/gglaj.html and
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19082-01/819-2240/6n4htdn8v/index.html)
and I hope that I'll get remote cosole access on Monday..
thanks for your help,
christian

Hi,
Looks like you installed a bad patch. Can you boot from CD/DVD and uninstall
any recently installed patch?

Simon

Hi all,
after applying recommended patchset (Feb. 23rd) our V240 no longer is
booting.
It is stuck in a
reset-loop and on the console we can see the following messages:
Probing system devices
Probing memory
Probing I/O buses
Sun Fire V240, No Keyboard

OpenBoot 4.18.10, 2048 MB memory installed, Serial #72705073.

Rebooting with command: boot
Boot device: /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2/disk@1,0:a File and args:

.....
any idea what's going on here??
thanks a lot,
christian
