Evening:
We installed Release Patch V4 on an Alpha 4100 system last Friday. This
evening, when we run backup, the command vdump generates the following
errors:
DECthreads init failure, version mismatch:
kernel version 1, library version 10001 -- application must be
relinked.
%DECthreads bugcheck (version V3.15-421), terminating execution.
% Reason: vpInit: DECthreads library incompatible with OS version
% Running on OSF1 V4.0 on AlphaServer 4100 5/533 4MB, 1536Mb; 2 CPUs
Background:
O/S:
Digital UNIX V4.0E (Rev. 1091); Thu Jul 27 16:47:09 PDT 2000
Thanks in advance.
Warren
