Most people that replied say to download gqlplus and give that a try.
Currently our dba is having issues running gqlplus and he is not totally
comfortable using this tool.
So then if nothing else comes around we will stick with SQL*Plus.
thanks to all.

Subject: How to Enable 'Command History' in SQL*Plus
When I get into SQL*Plus I would like to retrieve previous commands
like
you would from the UNIX command line...<esc>k in vi mode.
HP/UX has a feature called 'ied' which acts like vi at the command line.
Is there a way that Tru64 UNIX v5.1b has something of this sort?
