    Hello Managers,
    I am having a problem,
    While trying to copy files to a location, as oracle, I am getting the
    following error. I am not sure how am I reaching the processess limit of
    1024. When I check through ps, there are only 66 processes under oracle.

    task_create() failed for pid 117263: max_proc_per_user (=1024) exceeded
    for uid
    700.
    task_create() failed for pid 117263: max_proc_per_user (=1024) exceeded
    for uid
    700.
    task_create() failed for pid 117263: max_proc_per_user (=1024) exceeded
    for uid
    700.
    task_create() failed for pid 117263: max_proc_per_user (=1024) exceeded
    for uid
    700.
    Can someone explain?
    thanks in advance

    Devesh
