After trying to fix the unresolved symbols issue that sendmail has with
libbind.so, I ended up not using libbind with sendmail and it apparently is
now working.
There were other unresolved symbols from libdb-4.1.so which didn't cause an
error, they only showed up when using ldd -r sendmail and those are still
here.
I tried recompiling bind, db4 and sendmail, making sure -pthread was used,
but it didn't help the issue.
So I suppose anyone having the same problem with those libraries, could do
the same thing and not use libbind.so (by not using resolv in the sendmail
site.config.m4).
If anyone has a fix that allows using libbind.so and perhaps helping resolve
the few symbols from libdb-4.1.so, I'd like to try it.
If not, then I'll just have to live with no using libbind.so with sendmail.
