    Hi Admins,

I would says Thanks to Gert Masskant and Dennis MacDonell who try to help
    me.
Finalement we asked the question to *Compaq*'s help line, and they told us
that a harddisk is failed, and they will come here to replace with a new
one. The accident seems to be occur at the same time with changing IP.

We have checked all thoses files to be sure that it's not a network trouble,
and reboot the server after changing IP:
    /etc/hosts, /etc/rc.config, /etc/resolv.conf

Thanks a lots anyway, now, *Compaq* will take charge in this affaire...

    Here is my original message:

    Dear Admins,

We have a Alpha Machine with Digital Unix - OSF1 V4.0 878, after change its
IP address, the server suddently takes a lot of times to be connected. Even
after logon on the system, each command take a few minute to show resultats.
And we don't have a lot of applications running on this server (CPU/memory
shows 90% free). We have a console message error like this:

    -------
    cam_logger: cam_error packet
    cam_logger: bus 1 target 0 lun0
    ss_perform_timeout
    timeout on disconnected request
Active CCB at time of error
    -------

It seems not a routing trouble, since we can easily ping this machine, and
netstat -rn shows correct routing table also.
