    Thanks to "Dr Thomas.Blinn@HP.com" <tpb@doctor.zk3.dec.com>:

It would have been a significant engineering project to remove the
driver from the software; no one did it. It probably just works.
But it is no longer supported, if there were a problem, no one can
get it fixed because there is no longer an engineering group that
is responsible for such fixes. (If the problem was clearly in the
general software infrastructure and could impact other devices, it
would probably get fixed, but if it's specific to that hardware, or
it's a firmware problem in the hardware, it will never get fixed.)

    It works:
    harald /# hwmgr -view hierarchy|more
    ..
      35: swxcr_controller xcr0
      36: control_port xcr0 scp0
      37: disk ctlr-0-unit-0 dsk0
      38: disk ctlr-0-unit-1 dsk1

    Tested commands so far:
    showfdmn -k raid
    showfsets -k raid
    du -sk /mn/harald/u4/*
