Harddisk errors

    Hello Managers,
    One of the Hotpluggable disk (RZ1FC-VW) on a RAID box
    as failed with an orange LED on the disk. Following
    are the error messages in dxconsole.

    ***Alert: hard device error on /dev/rzd128c from
    mccasper
    jun 22 10:40:11 ***Alert: hard device error on
    /dev/rzd128c from mccasper

    jun 22 10:40:12 casper vmunix: io/vol.c(volerror):
    Uncorrectable write error on volume 1cvol, plex
    1cpl-02, block 10432
    jun 22 10:40:12 casper vmunix: io/vol.c(volerror):
    Uncorrectable read error on volume 1cvol, plex
    1cpl-02, block 41071360.
    The above read error message as repeated for different
    blocks.
    Now the disk has comeout of the volume(LSM).
    I would like to know is the device has got any bad
    blocks or any Hard error, should I go for replacement
    with compaq since the disk is under warranty.
    I will be testing with scu, results yet to come.
    Wiating for ur replies.
