Configure the disk on the HSZ80 and make sure you create your
root disk as a target not a lun. (IE. D0 or D100) . The rest
of the devices can be any numbers on the controller that are
valid. Then boot the installation disk from the console and
produce a hard copy if you have a VT420 terminal or a log if
you use terminal emulation. The boot process will identify
the disk as rz# and tapes as tz# then got to the "/dev"
directory off the installation CD and do a MAKEDEV and create
the files to restore from tape your / , /usr & /var. Or you
can take the easy manner of a custom installation and it will
be automated. I would recommend serial as opposed to GUI
    console for the automated installation.

I think you should be able to set up a mirror set on the
storage and assign it a unit number, specifically D0, and
install the OS on it. You need to assign the unit number D0.
No other unit number is acceptable. Try it out and let me
    know.

I haven't tried it, but there isn't reason that I know
of that it won't work. If there is going to be a problem
it will be trying to use some LUN other than zero for the
    system disk. That's easily solved.
V4.0G might be a slightly better choice if you have
    it.
