    Hi all ,
             I just finished setting up my Oracle 9i on a
    Tru-cluster (5.1a pk 4) . I have seen an oscillating
    behaviour . The oracle instance moves between both the
    cluster nodes .
    This is a very undesirable behaviour .
    Note that the system is not running RAC ...
    I have used these options in my profile

    ash-2.04# caa_stat -p ora1
    NAME=ora1
    TYPE=application
    ACTION_SCRIPT=ora1.scr
    ACTIVE_PLACEMENT=0
    AUTO_START=0
    CHECK_INTERVAL=120
    DESCRIPTION=ORACLE CAA Service
    FAILOVER_DELAY=0
    FAILURE_INTERVAL=0
    FAILURE_THRESHOLD=0
    HOSTING_MEMBERS=clnode1 clnode2
    OPTIONAL_RESOURCES=
    PLACEMENT=restricted
    REQUIRED_RESOURCES=
    RESTART_ATTEMPTS=1
    SCRIPT_TIMEOUT=240

    Could someone tell me how to fix the oscillations :( .

    Des
