We have a tru64 version 5.1 alpha running NFS client. We are able to mount
to an NFS server, however when we access the mounted directory, the
    following error is displayed:

    WEEPING:/mnt> mount -t nfsv3 142.25.79.43:/SFU /mnt/nfstest
    WEEPING:/mnt> ls -al
    total 16
    drwxr-xr-x 3 root system 8192 Aug 29 09:17 .
    drwxr-xr-x 32 root system 8192 Aug 29 09:13 ..
    drwxrwxr-x 2 4294967294 4294967294 64 Aug 21 11:07 nfstest

    WEEPING:/mnt> cd nfstest
NFS3 RFS3_ACCESS failed for server 142.25.79.43 : RPC: Authentication error
NFS3 RFS3_ACCESS failed for server 142.25.79.43 : RPC: Authentication error
    ksh: nfstest: not found

We have tried both mounting as root, and as a user of the college domain.
Is this a parameter setting on our end, or on the NFS server end... We do
have the nfsiod process running set at 7 threads.

    Thanks for your help,

    Ginette
