help with sendmail

    Hi,
    I am using sendmail on Tru64 V4.0G, when I launch the following
    /usr/sbin/sendmail -d0.1 -bt < /dev/null
    I obtain this result:
    Compiled with: LOG MATCHGECOS MIME7TO8 MIME8TO7 NAMED_BIND NDBM NETINET
                    NETUNIX NIS QUEUE SCANF SMTP XDEBUG

    ============ SYSTEM IDENTITY (after readcf) ============
          (short domain name) $w = myserver.consodata.com
      (canonical domain name) $j = $w
             (subdomain name) $m = <null>
                  (node name) $k = myserver

    why the $m is null, how I can configure my sendmail.cf ?

    I have configured the resolv.conf file like this :
    domain mydomain.com
    nameserver IPADRESS

    I would appreciate any Help.
