    Hello Tru Gurus,

    FYI:
    Have 2 Clustered ES40's running Tru64 Unix v5.1A and
    2 clustered DS20's running Tru64 Unix v5.1A on a
Compaq SAN ESA1200 with dual HSG80 Array Controllers.

I need to run snap shots and run backups of snap shots
on our backup server without having to shutdown the
Oracle Databases while the backup is running.

I'd like to take snapshots, start the databases and
run the backup of the snapshots.

    Q:
Does anybody have the requirements and instructions to
running the snapshots on the HSG80's and configuring
the Legato backup server to backup the snap shots.

Backup server is running Legato v6.0.1

    Thanks in advance,

    Jose
