    To all Tru64-Unix Managers:

We have encountered the following problem on the DS10 Compaq server running with Tru64 Unix V.4.0F with all patches installed from Tru64 UNIX NHD3 (V.4.0F):

The server is runnning fine if we are using concurently. But the monitor screen went black and did not return the login GUI after we locked or logged out after a long period of time ( 1 day). It will return the logged in GUI after we have to manually reboot it (push the halt button!). It happened several times already. Also the whole machine becomes unresponsive and unpingable (dead). The power light remains on though.
After we booted the server manually, it worked perfectly.

We wonder if the energy saving has something to do with the problem above.

    Please help.

    Regards,

    William
