    Hi All
Wanted to find out if anyone out there using 9940B tape
    drives.I have few questions

What are settings we can change in /etc/ddr.dbase to get the max thru put
on the tape drives. Can we set the maxtransferSize para more then 256K. What
is the optimal value ? What is max writes you get on the 9940B tape drives
in compressed mode. We have 9940B tape drives connected to GS320 via a 2 GB
    HBA [ Emulex]and 2GB Switches.

Also are there parameteres we can twick on the emulex HBA to force them to
2GB. We are not getting the max thru put we should get which should be
    around 130MB/s on 2GB HBA , we get around 70 to 90 MB/s .

    Reagards
    Manish
