lmhostid and several NICs

Hello gurus
Background: We have a ES40 5.1A running three diffent flexlm license
managers (actually vendor daemons). There is one nic, de500, at the
moment. Licenses are bound to nic's mac-address as usual.
I changed nic to degxa leaving old de500 in place at the same pcislot
and did not configure it at os-level. I thought license managers would
be happy but no. They find degxa's mac, not de500.
I tried changing nics to different slots but whetever I did lmhostid
returns degxa's mac. Even ran doconfig couple of times.
So, does anybody know how to fix system so that lmhostid finds de500?
I know that is may be possible because I have AlphaStation 200
that has two nics, one inactive (which lmhostid finds) and another
active (of which lmhostid does not know).
