    Hi all,

    I've inadvertently issued a command:

    echo hello > /dev/lat/123

without first connecting port 123 to a terminal-server port.
i.e. I forgot to do the

    /usr/sbin/latcp -A -p123 -Hservername -Rport_N

The echo command is hanging uninterruptably, and
seems to be preventing further (previously successful)
    commands like

      echo hello > /dev/lat/456

    where I've previously done

      /usr/sbin/latcp -A -p456 -Hanother_servername -Rport_N

These commands also hang, but recover when I

      /usr/sbin/latcp -D -p456

They again hang if I redo the

      /usr/sbin/latcp -A -p456 -Hanother_servername -Rport_N

    and repeat the

      echo hello > /dev/lat/456

However if I attempt the same deletion of the p123 port,
    I get:

Port 123 is not an application or outgoing port

If I attempt to create it, I get:

      Port 123 is in use.

Can I get out of this without rebooting?

    Cheers,
    Terry.
