    Morning list,

    Update:
After the replacement of a controller card the system is back up. I
replaced a disk in the Raid5 set, but the root files system could not be
mounted even with a new disk where root lived and a rebuild of the raid
set. Many hours on the phone with HP and trying to recover gave me a
chance to really see what was happening and I learned a lot. The system
is being rebuilt. Thanks to all who made comments and suggestions.

    Question: (surprise!)

Solaris has the Jumpstart process to help image and flash servers for a
common state of startup with OS, software, patches etc.

What is the equivalent in Tru64?

    TIA

    Kevin McCarty
