Admins,
Version V5.1b-1 Tru64 UNIX & TruCluster on ES40/ES45 Cluster FW 6.6.
I was looking for a way to have a file system mounted only on specified servers.
For example:
1) In a three node cluster, node3 has some local drives (internal)which I want mounted on node3 but unavailable and not visible to node1 or node2.
2) In a three node cluster with SAN storage, the SAN presents
5 LUN's. I want one of these LUN's to be mounted and visible only on one node in the cluster. In this senario, I could, for example, cause this LUN to be presented only to one node in the cluster using SAN zoneing and/or LUN security, bt how would the cluster react?
So, is there ant way I can cause a given file system to be mounted on a sub-set of all servers in a cluster, something like
an /etc/fstab.local file would be nice but ...
Your help appreciated as ever.
Lawrie
