    Thanks to Alan Davis, Sheila Hollenbaugh, Rick Copeland, Charles Ballowe,
    Charles Richmod, Dr. Thomas Blinn for their responses. It looks like the
    default#B9600#B9600#\n#default will suppress the banner message when you get
    your login prompt on telnet however, (thanks to Alan Davis for pointing this
    out) where it is located in the file matters in 5.1A yet it doesn't in 5.1B.
