I have just replaced a TZ89 tape drive on our Tru64 5.1A box with a Compaq SDLT320 drive
I cannot seem to write to it using tar , but cpio with -ovcB works OK. Using /usr/field/tapex
also gives write errors. The device appears normal in the hwmgr -show scsi list.
Is there anything else I should consider here?
    Thanks
