Hello gurus -
Perhaps someone can assist me with the installation of a DEGXA-TA card. We have a dev group here that went and bought this card for their Microway UP2000+-based Alpha running Tru64 5.1B PK3 (of course without verifying if it was supported). I've installed the physical hardware, and it appears to work at 100mb (I haven't tested gigabit functionality yet). So it appears that all is good, except for one small nagging thing: I can't see the card at the SRM with a sh dev. I successfully booted genvmunix and it detected the card, I recompiled the kernel and I can ping the machine, I can telnet in/out from it, etc.
SRM version is 5.8-81, Tru64 UNIX PALcode 1.79-64
Anyone else tried this before? Is it just the SRM version?
Microway's FTP server seems down at the moment, and tech support is often slower than this list, so I thought I'd try here first.
Thanks!
