    Dear Tru64 UNIX Managers:

My question regards to the use of Memory Channel.
One of our customers is asking why the Memory Channel
is plugged into 33MHz PCI Bus and why not into 66 MHz
    Bus.
Our clusters do not work in a load balancing mode, but
mostly in failover mode. Even Oracle's Real
Application Cluster runs in a failover mode and not in
a load balancing mode. All our clusters are two node
    clusters.

The hardware for these clusters was put together by
HP. Will the Memory Channel throughput increase if we
plug it in the 66 MHz PCI bus instead of 33 MHz PCI
Bus? Will it matter to our applications, if we do
    that?

In appreciation for your answers, as always.

    Regards,
    Praveen
