    Hi Managers,
    Thanx to Tom Blinn and B.L. Venkatesh for their replies.

    The consenus seems to be that UBC was not implemented until V5.1b and
    I am using V5.1 (something I forgot to mention in the original mail).

    DS10, advfs file system.

    I was looking at the output from dbx,`pd bio_stats` and it is showing
    zero hits. That doesn't seem right or does the UBC not apply to ADVFS
    file systems.
