How to disable the NFS client read-ahead ?

    Hello Managers,
     
    I need to disable the NFS client read ahead
    (readahead).
    How this can be done?
     
    We run Tru64 version 4.0F, but interested in the
    solution for later versions also.
     
    The Network Appliances' Support has requested this
    change in the NFS client parameters in attempt to
    speed up Oracle's reading operations when database
    files are located on the filer.
