Many thanks to Dr. Thomas P. Blinn, Mr. Ryckowski, Nelson Kawumi, Mr.
Venkatesh, Mr. Adametz and John L. Lanier.
Powering down and up MSL5026 and Modular Data Router solved the problem.
That's very weird.. if I find something else I'll let you know.. Now
hwmgr -view devices shows:
74: /dev/cport/scp0 DATA ROUTER bus-1-targ-0-lun-0
75: /dev/changer/mc0 COMPAQ MSL5000 Series bus-1-targ-0-lun-1
76: /dev/ntape/tape0 COMPAQ SuperDLT1 bus-1-targ-0-lun-2
77: /dev/ntape/tape1 COMPAQ SuperDLT1 bus-1-targ-0-lun-3
and hwmgr -show scsi
74: 22 anchova raid none 0 3 scp0 [1/0/0]
75: 23 anchova changer none 0 2 mc0 [1/0/1]
76: 24 anchova tape none 0 2 tape0 [1/0/2]
77: 25 anchova tape none 0 2 tape1 [1/0/3]
But Veritas Netbackup is still blind.. but it's not a Tru64 issue
anymore, I'll play with Veritas manuals to find out why it is not working.
Thanks again.
