Removing individual C2 user auth

     We have C2 security configured, but we have a software package that doesn't support C2 security. In the past I have removed the C2 security from an individual user. For some reason I can no longer get this to work. Does anyone have instructions on how to do this ?
    O/S is TRU64 5.1A
