    Hello!

     a bit alte summary, but i was busy lately..
    i asked about any posiblity of running a nis server on linux
    and nis clients on tru64.
     thanx to James Sainsbury and Rochelle Lauer
    who replied.
     IT IS NOT POSSIBLE, so, as James suggested, use Kerberos and LDAP.
