      Hello,
      How can I solve this problem:
      Tru64 machine config:
      OS : V5.1A
      Mac Os : 10

      I want to export a file system to Mac machine so that the user should able
    to mount it from the Finder(in Mac) (NOT administrator or root on the mac).
    The Mac person says that I have to use port number .ge. 1024.
      I would like to know how can I export the FS (whch parameters?) so that
    user on the mac should able to mount it from his account. Any suggestions
    are appreciated. There was some solution mentioned with Tru64 OS 4.x.
      edit /etc/rc.config.common :

      Add
      MOUNTOPTS= "-i"
      Export MOUNTOPTS
       Then start the mount daemon with "-i " and "-n"
       These solutions are still valid?

      Thanks,

      Kumar
