            Here is an example of an install.cdf that was generated from a 5.1a
    installation where I selected "yes" to "Use LSM".

    install:
            _item=Inst_lsm_global
            priv_reg_size=4096
            _action=create
            lsm_hostname=17704:18:23:01

    install:
            _item=Inst_lsm_disks
            priv_reg_part=d
            name=dsk2
            _action=create

            It all makes sense to me except for the lsm_hostname. Where does
    this number come from, and what is it used for?

            Where is this "hostname" stored? Is there a way to find out what it
    is on a running 4.0f live system, and could I use that same number to set up
    an install.cdf for installation of 5.1a?

    thanks
