    Hi all,
    Thanks to John Lanier, Tom Webster & Michael James Bradford. They
    preferred to opt for rolling upgrade.

    I went through step by step procedure in Chapter 7 & finally got the
    success. It took almost 4-5 Hrs for executing all the 7 steps.

    Hi all,

    Presently I have a single node TruCluster 5.1 using Memory Channel
    acting as a development Server. Due to some pre-requisite of Oracle 10G
    we need to upgrade this cluster to TruCluster5.1B.
    Since this is a Development server, Data is more important than the
    downtime.

    Can you please suggest me the best way to upgrade this Cluster i.e.-
    a. Scraping local basic OS disk & re-install Tru64Unix with Cluster
    components for 5.1B &
       then mounting old data_domains/Disks. Is this safe? Do I need to
    create some CDSLs etc.?
    b. Rolling upgrade from 5.1 to 5.1A & then 5.1B

    If possible, Please do let me know some links for best practices.
