Hi all,
in 5.1b PK4 after the startup of mountd this process greps sometimes the TCP
port 631 to listen.
This port collidates with the default cupsd listen port.
How can I prevent this behavior and restrict mountd to listen to another
port?

AIX 5.2 ML01 and rpc.mountd ... Apparently IBM made a silly change to rpc.mountd in AIX 5.2 ML01.... rpc.mountd binds to that port, but forgets to register with portmapper. ... Now, if you remove the mountd entry from /etc/services, then rpc.mountd ... (comp.unix.aix)

[HPADM] rpc.mountd ... 100005 1 udp 49220 mountd... 100005 1 tcp 49162 mountd ... it will be operate on reserved port but it is not true. ... (HP-UX-Admin)
