    Hi,

    Thanks for those who replied so quickly. Special thanks to the following
    people who pointed out the logs rotate every 24 hours from the last reboot
    or the last time syslogd was restarted. I thought it was more complicated
    than that.

    So, I will have to remember to use a cron job to restart syslogd at 2:00am
    every time the system is rebooted.
