I heard from: Benjamin C. Ingwersen and he said they had tons in stock Joe LaCascio had some 4.3GB drives Blake Brehl who's seen them in the $10-20 bracket on eBay Jon Norstog who's also seen them around $10 on eBay Fred Serino who had some for sale Ryan Devereaux (Great Lakes) that had 9's for $20 and 18's for $75 At this point, I was pondering whether I should get a couple of 9's from Ryan or buy the 80GB IDE drive advertised as Frye's for $30 after rebates, when I heard from (drum roll and nomination for sainthood): Russ Schaefer who said he'd give me a few if I'd pay shipping! Thanks to all of you, especially Russ. Jeff Original note follows: Any source suggestions for a few cheap (i.e. for my personal use instead of work use) disk drives of the DS-RZ1DB-VW or DS-RZ1EA-VW variety? Anybody got any they're looking to get rid of? I've got a partially filled rack, and I'm toying with the idea of using an old computer and making a "song server", and it's about to the point where I decide if I should spring for a new IDE type drive, or try to fully populate my BA356. Thanks.
