Greetings,
I have RIS basically working on my network but I have run into
two situations that I need help on.
First off how would I go about automating the adding of the
License (OSF-BASE) into the system after the RIS deployment completes?
Is there a script I can run or something?
When I setup these boxes I used the default disk partitioning,
How would I go about changing this? I know you can use the DiskLabelSave
option during the preinstall time but how would I edit the table to
reflect a 10GB "/" and a 10GB "usr" ?
Here is my default table:
---------------------------------------
8 partitions:
# size offset fstype fsize bsize cpg # ~Cyl
values
a: 786432 0 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 # 0 -
780*
b: 786432 786432 unused 0 0 # 780*-
1560*
c: 58633344 0 unused 0 0 # 0 -
58167
d: 19020160 1572864 unused 0 0 # 1560*-
20429*
e: 19020160 20593024 unused 0 0 # 20429*-
39298*
f: 19020160 39613184 unused 0 0 # 39298*-
58167
g: 4300800 1572864 swap # 1560*-
5827*
h: 52759680 5873664 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 # 5827*-
58167
Or I guess is there some way I can modify a current machine with the
correct partition sizes and then snap off another DiskLabelSave?
Thank you for any help you can provide
