    Dear managers,

while copying large data files from SAN storage to a locally attached scsi
raid, the kernel threw an advfs domain panic on the taget filesystem. Since
then the filesystem is inaccessible. Verify can not handle the problem. The
V5.1 version stops with a message like this:
    # /sbin/advfs/verify -f domain_dsk214c
verify: can't get set info for domain 'domain_dsk214c'
    verify: error = I/O error
verify: there are no filesets in domain domain_dsk214c

verify of 5.0a (the Version that was running while creating the FS)
reports -1031 ENO_SUCH_DOMAIN (advfs_err(4) for little more info).

I was able to extract many files with salvage, but a lot of filenames are
    gone.

Here's some info about the target-raid:

Infortrend IFT-7200 IDE-to-SCSI raid, 7 disks organized as raid5 in one
logical volume. One filedomain, one fileset, 1.7TB storage in one FS. The
event log of the raidcontroller postet 2 bad blocks at the time when tru64
    lost the FS.

Question: Can 2 bad blocks render the FS unusable? The raid5 does probably
    make the error worse...

    Thanks for your input!
    Armin
