tcp connections timeout

    Dear UNIX Managers,

    We have several Alpha servers. The users connect to the application
    using a Windows telnet client. Every once in a while there are short
    disconnects in the network. How do I extend the tcp timeout so that the
    connections are not dropped for a 10 second disconnect?

    Any help would be appreciated.
