I have to add the following lines to /sys/conf/<HOSTNAME>

    bus i2o0 at *
    controller i2o_bs0 at i2o0 slot 0
    device disk ri0 at i2o_bs0 drive 0
    controller i2o_bs1 at i2o0 slot 0
    device disk ri1 at i2o_bs1 drive 1

    config_driver pza

and rebuild a new kernel with
    # doconfig -c <HOSTNAME>

Copy it to / and reboot.

    Many thanks for all replies.

    >we have an ES40 (2 x 833Mhz) with 4 GB Ram, Tru64 5.1B-PK3, Alpha Firmware 6.6-19. I installed a DS-KZPCC-AC (Firmware CQ17) and connected it to the internal drive cage DS-610-6D. The 3 x HP 72 GB 10k Hotplug SCSI Drives are configured as a RAIS 5. But neither in /devices/disk nor in the disk-app in CDE are entries of the RAID-Volume.
