SUMMARY: group ownership

Thanks to Ric Werne and Dave Holland
This is expected BSD filesystem behaviour, contrasting with what I was expecting (POSIX behaviour).
Files are inheriting their directory's group ownership. I have to admit this makes a certain amount of sense, although in a mixed Linux/ Tru64 environment it causes considerable confusion!
