Tru64 SAN system disk question

Hi. I'm not even sure if this mailing list is still around or not, but
figured why not give it a try:
Anyway. I have an AlphaServer GS1280 running Tru64 5.1B, pk 5.
This system has its system disk out on the SAN. It also has a local
internal system disk that we do not use.
All filesystems are AdvFS.
I was just wondering if other people had this same setup. The question is:
do you update your local (internal) disk
with information from the SAN disk? If so, how? and how often? If not, why
not?
Just trying to gather some general information about this to see if we want
to start incorporating some sort of procedure.
If anyone does indeed do this, and uses a script or something, it would be
great to get a copy of said script.
TIA
