Restoring 5.1a on an ES40 from a DS25

Hello,

In the past, I have routinely restored 4.0g and 5.1a backups to DS10,
DS20, ES40 hosts. However, I am thinking of taking a back up(5.1a) from
a DS25, and restoring it on a ES40. I am a bit concerned about the
compatibility of the older hardware, but my feeling is that it can be
done.

Has anyone ever successfully restored back up from a DS25, and restored
it on a ES40, which was then used in a live system? Are there any known
issue, or nuances I should be aware of as I consider that option?
