Hello,
My present Tru64 WS works with a static address.
I tried to configure it as a DHCP client without success.
I kept my resolv.conf, /etc/routes file as it is.
I made the change in /etc/rc.config with sysman command
for IFCONFIG_0 parameter as follows:
IFCONFIG_0="DYNAMIC netmask 255.255.255.0"
and also with
IFCONFIG_0="DYNAMIC netmask 255.255.0.0"
without success.
In /etc/hosts file I have the Domain Name server entry as well as the
following for
DHCP:
DYNAMIC hostname
Is there any other file which I have to make change? Has any one ever
did a DHCP
Client configuration on a Tru64 machine?
Any help is very much appreciated.
Regards,
Kumar
