Usual practice, David, is to make periodic image backups of your
system disk on the production system.

When you want to test (or when you have that pesky disaster), do an
image restore of your most recent backup onto the DR server. You can
use any disk that will hold the production system image.

Reboot the DR server from the restored system disk. This will, of
course cause issues if both nodes are on the same subnet (but then i
don't want my DR server sitting beside the production node, do I?)

Then, when your testing is finished, wipe the restored system disk,
reboot the DR server from its _own_ disk, and off you go.

This is standard practice, and I think HP will bless it, if you ask.
They understand about DR and testing.

They will have absolutely no sense of humor, however, if you are
"duplicating" licenses, but you knew that.

denny
