Does this work on PeeCees for CDE? (The New Desktop?)
I've done this with my PoerBook G4. I have X11 running in full screen
mode on the PowerBook. I can run DECW$STARTLOGIN and I get the login
dialog box. If I login to start CDE, all I get is the blue screen with
the white border, the message: Starting the New Desktop for OpenVMS and
the "hourglass". If I have items started with login, they eventually
appear. I never get the blue screen to go away and the "dashboard" to
appear.
If, however, I select DECwindows session from the Options in the login
dialog box and then login, all is OK.
I'm assuming the problem is with the window manager. Anybody have any
ideas?
