Strangely enough, I was going to ask the same question as Manfred, for
exactly the same reason.

I assume the COM ports are wired to IBM-PC standard. I must dig out an
Alphastion 2xx/4 booklet.

Does the same principal apply to server boxes, e.g. DS20'?
