Bob, if you are using a laptop it's going to be very hard indeed to find a
"single keystroke" for all 48 Fn, PFn, KPn, and En keys that exist on an
LK4xx keyboard, because laptops just don't have that number of keys :-)

In fact, persisting with VMS use on a laptop can really only fall into the
"doctor, it hurts when I do this - well don't do it then" category of
masochism !

I've tried a few emulators. Reflection is well worth paying for, and
there's always Kermit-95 (or whatever it's called now) at less cost, about
which I have heard good things but never actually used in anger. Reflection
also has an optional keyboard display which can be changed into a variety of
shapes, including and excluding the main qwerty area.
