Nothing in DECnet Phase IV, but as has been suggested it's not that
difficult to code something up for a couple of machines over a DECnet link.
Depending on how closely you need them to be in sync you could even use DCL.
It's usually the case that accuracy of relative time (to determine the order
of events) is more important than accuracy relative to a datum.
If you want it done well then I'd seriously recommend moving to DECnet-Plus
with Phase IV compatible addressing. Then you get DTSS and it's much better.
Many years ago I invested serious time and effort in coding a network time
sync layer for a distributed real-time control system using DECnet Phase IV
(it worked pretty well too), but we binned it as soon as DTSS appeared. DTSS
just does a really nice job when you feed it with a reliable accurate
external time source.
