Sorry, this sounds like a crock. SUN introduced the 386i in 1989 running
SunOS 4.0.2. Solaris 2.1 in 1992 supported x86. Solaris 2.4 in 1994
supported x86. And every version since has supported x86.
Other intermediate versions may have (and probably did as I can't
imagine a reason to skip some versions) also supported x86, but I
don't have that information within easy grasp right now.
